Open Competitions

The East Anglian Mens Open Spring Foursomes – Saturday 21st / Sunday 22nd April 2012

 For those of you who have not played in this event before , it is spread over two days. There is a 36 hole stableford qualifying event on the Saturday in which pairs qualify into match play “flights” of 4 pairs who play off on the Sunday. Everyone qualifies for the Sunday, even the pair who is last. However, the lower down the field you are, the earlier you have to get up on Sunday morning. Everyone is guaranteed 3 rounds of golf.  All meals, lunches on both Saturday and Sunday and supper on the Saturday evening are included in the entry fee. Finally may I point out that all competitors must have an active handicap.

The East Anglian Mens Open Autumn Foursomes - Saturday 8th / Sunday 9th September 2012: 

A similar competition to the one held in the spring. If you would like to play, please email the Secretary.

Mixed Open – Shotgun Greensomes – Sunday 24th June 2012.

 This is an 18 hole greensome stableford event with a shotgun start at 9:30am. There is also optional foursomes golf in the afternoon and also a chance to play a practice round on Saturday 23rd June after 3pm at our introduced green fee rate of £25 each.

Junior Open – Tuesday 31st July 2012

This is a competition open to anyone  under 18 on 1st January 2011. There will be an 18 hole scratch medal for the lower handicaps and a handicap stableford for the rest.
